rBackup

rBackup is a System Tray application that allows you to backup your registry whenever you wish. It also allows you to attach notes against each backup so you don't have to remember why you did it! It can be configured to perform a daily backup of the registry automatically. This free app has already saved many users time and effort having to manually alter the registry, or rebuild Windows following a creash.

NOTE: It has been reported that rBackup has a problem working on early versions of Windows95. This is due to a file called OLEAUT32.DLL THere is a patch for this from Microsoft, and I am currently awaiting permission to distribute the patch. If you are currently having problems then I suggest that you either try and get hold of the patch, or wait until it is available here. (with thanks to GB!)
